Fangatave Beach includes Caves, Trekking, Climb and Snorkel

This walk takes you to the North East of 'Eua island where you trek down a steep descend and stand on high cliffs looking down you now see Fangatave Beach and that's the destination for the day.

On the way down, the first decline is a initial climb down some not so high rock faces to the foot track below and the continue down towards the beach and on the way down you commence your caving, you arrive at your first cave after another short rock climb and then the next one and next one and so on.

There are about eleven caves to hike through once you finish the caves you end up on the beach, the one you were looking at, at the start of the day walk from high on the cliff tops. Now you are looking up and it is spectacular. You are on Fangatave Beach now, looking up, it's pretty cool.

It's now time for lunch after a short walk on the beach, some toasted sandwiches and fruit and coconuts, your guide can climb a coconut tree and get them for you.

Time for a snorkel in the rock pool. This pool is a little walk in front of the beach about 50 meters and then drop in and see all the different colourful tropical fish. The pool is not to big and not to small so it's like being in a human size aquarium.

After your cool off swim, that you have earnt after the all that trekking down and scrambling through the caves, there's time to dry up and relax a while on the golden sandy beach to prepare to go back up the way you came down. There is no other track to this Beach, it's just down and up the same way. Only accessible by foot.

Once you are back on the cliff again, this is a spot where you can see Humpback whales relaxing in the distance in the Tongan trench.

Walk back to the drop off/ pick up point and you ride will be there to take you back to your guest house for Dinner and a few well earnt cold beers.
